- Hi all I am a mother of two, my son age 30, and my daughter age 26. My son has blessed me with the addition of two grandchildren. My grandaughter is 5 and my grandson will be 3 this month. Whom ever said it was better to have grandchildren than your own knew what they were talking about. You love your children but the love seems to double when you first see your grandchildren and keeps doubling everytime you do see them.
